This Summer we were able to plan and throw one amazing wedding celebration of our youngest sister Eliza! With a family of four girls we’ve had one incredible wedding celebration after the other and each fit our personalities so well! Eliza wanted a backyard wedding and she got a fabulous one! With wedding colors of ivory, taupe & gold, this was a stunning and elegant event.
Details, details, details… if you want to make your wedding one to be remembered then don’t forget the details.
Guests arrived at the reception in golf carts from the parking area to the unloading area in front of the house. A walk down the driveway took guests past a gold framed chalkboard sign pointing them to Happily Ever After!
Tables displaying pictures of the couple and their everyday dining ware led the guests to the entrance of the garden where there was a table covered with a giant umbrella, that had hanging sconces of fresh white flowers. The table had bridal photos and instead of a sign in book there was an urn with note cards where guests could leave wishes for the couple.
In the garden we had a white tent where the couple could greet their guests. Outdoor furniture really made this space a stunning feature.
The reception food was incredible… Chicken skewers, asian pasta salad, assorted breads with an artichoke spread, fruit cups, sugar cookies and ginger ale sodas that were personalized with the couples names. The wedding cake was a lemon pound cake lovingly made by her grandma. Cake was served to guests throughout the night.

Beautiful doves were released by the bride & groom! Doves are a symbol of purity & love. In ancient Greek and Roman times, white doves were given to the groom from the bride. The gorgeous birds circled above the reception after their release before returning to their home.
To end the reception, the bride & groom were led to the front of the house where they ran through a tunnel of sparklers and were driven off into the sunset on a white golf cart!
